$20K Reward Offered For Info On Fatal Hit-And-Run in Morris County
Man was run down on Route 15 in September.

A Jefferson Township family has put up $20,000 for anyone who can help them find justice after the tragic death of a loved one.
On Saturday, Sept. 19 around 4 a.m., a motorist on Route 15 in Jefferson reported seeing a person lying in the roadway near Edison Road. When police arrived they found Michael Adams, 24, of Jefferson, had been struck by a vehicle at some point within the last hour.
Adams was taken to St. Clare’s Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

More than a month later, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office continues to search for the driver who fatally struck Adams and the investigation is still active. Adams’s family has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for the death.
