5 Things: Jefferson Township Council Meeting

The meets tonight at 6 p.m. at the municipal building. There are several things you’ll want to know about this meeting. Here they are:
- Time Change: Note that the meeting starts at 6 p.m. tonight, an hour earlier than the usual 7 p.m. start time.
- State of the Township: Mayor Russell Felter will give his annual state of the township address, including much information about where Jefferson is headed in 2012.
- Budget: As part of the state of the township address, Felter will present the proposed 2012 budget.
- Lake Swannanoa: On the agenda is Resolution 12-9, authorizing execution of agreement by and among the Township of Jefferson, Lake Swannanoa Homeowner's Association, and the Swannanoa Sentinel Society, as well as the loan agreement between the state of New Jersey, the and the Township of Jefferson.
- Raffle: Members of the will be on hand to draw a winner of the club’s annual raffle. Get your tickets ready.
