5 Things: Today is a Superstitious Day

Today is Friday the thirteenth. If you’re superstitious, this may be a day you want to stay inside, as, according to some old legends, this day can bring bad luck. 1. Mirror: If you break a mirror, you will have seven years of bad luck.
2. Black Cat: If a black cat is walking toward you, you will have good luck. If it is walking away from you, it is taking the good luck with it.
3. Birthday Candles: If you blow out all your birthday candles the first time, you will get whatever you wish for. (Seems that the younger you are, the easier that will be!)
4. Umbrella: Don’t open an umbrella in the house; that can bring you bad luck.
5. Breaking the Spell: You can break a spell of bad luck by turning seven times in a clockwise circle.
