The United Methodist Church of Newfoundland thanked a large group of individuals and groups that donated baskets to help needy families at Thanksgiving. The church's December newsletter highlighted the following: the Darnsteadt, Shuart, Stanich, Gibson, Meyer, Keating, Callahan, Huguenel and Boss families; the Chancel Choir; the A.M. Women; Ed Hollenbeck, Gale Plocic and Alice Bresett for donating baskets. The church would also like to thank Carla Horton for organizing the baskets.
