Area Students Make Dean's Lists

Students carry high grade point averages.

Jake Bakera, a freshman from Oak Ridge, was named to the Dean's List at the University of New Haven for the fall 2011 semester. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the Dean's List.

Matthew S. Ojeda, a sophomore from Oak Ridge, was named to the fall 2011 dean's list at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa. Ojeda is a music education and music major. Dean's list students must maintain a grade point average of 3.4 or above on a 4-point scale.

Amanda C. Osbun, of Oak Ridge, a junior at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester.

Founded in 1866, Lebanon Valley College is a four-year, private liberal arts and pre-professional school in Annville, Pa., offering 34 undergraduate majors and graduate programs in business, music education, physical therapy, and science education. With 1,631 full-time undergraduate students and 58 full-time graduate students, the College opened the fall 2011 semester with its largest enrollment in history.

The 1,565 students named to Millersville University's fall 2011Dean's List earned a semester grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher and attempted at least 12 credits of course work.
