Band Parents Say Thanks for Help at Competition

Many helped make event possible.

The following is a letter from Mary Wendt, a representative of the Jefferson High School Band Parents' Association, thanking all those involved for their help at the band's competition.

The Band Parents along with the Golden Falcon Marching Band held their annual Competition this fall. We would like to thank the following establishments for their support: Home Depot (Rockaway); ; Wonder Bread; Costco (Rockaway), and Eastern Propane.

An event of this magnitude could not happen without the help and cooperation of many people. We would also like to thank the JTHS custodial staff; JTHS Athletic Boosters; donors of our awards; spectators; and the multitude of Marching Band parent volunteers. We wish to thank our Marching Band students who represented JTHS with great pride in marching and musicianship. They were a great help as courteous guides to the visiting bands.

In addition, we extend our appreciation to the Marching Band staff who gives countless hours of commitment to the Marching Band students, Rich Barrieres, Director; Lauren Kulick, Assistant Director; Tracy Sinatra, Guard Instructor; Ed Bopp, Drill Instructor; Justin Kulick, Percussion Instructor; and volunteers Ralph and Holly Marino.

Proceeds from this event enhance the instrumental music program at Jefferson Township High School as well as support scholarships to recognize graduating seniors who have demonstrated their dedication to this program.
