Boy Scout Game Night Helps Son of Deceased Teacher

Pack 49 donates money to fund for son of Robin Carlson, a Jefferson teacher who succumbed to cancer.

Jefferson’s Cub Sout Pack 49 hosted a game night at a recent pack meeting. But it wasn’t just for fun. The pack raised $917.75 for the Brian Carlson Fund. Brian’s mother, Robin Carlson, was a third grade teacher in Jefferson Township who recently died of cancer.

The older scouts, known as Webelos, made games for all to play. A donation was requested for each game. Some of the fun included Coin Toss, Toilet Paper Toss, Knock the Pins and Bean Bag the Clown.

β€œI am so proud to have been your Cubmaster,” said Sean Tonnesen, outgoing Cubmaster. β€œThis is what scouting is all about.”
