Business and Pleasure on Council Meeting Agenda

Business and pleasure will mix at Wednesday night’s , scheduled for 7 p.m. at town hall.

Items on the meeting’s schedule include proclamations for Girl Scout Gold Award recipients Sarina Calderone, Jacquelyn Ferguson and Francesca Mundrick, and Eagle Scout Thomas DeCarlo.

The council will also celebrate the retirement of Roy Brandell.

On the business side, the council will adopt an ordinance for second reading and final hearing to purchase land from the 713 Company and the Trust Fund for Public Land. This includes the Hunters’ Glen property off of Route 15.

Also under discussion at the meeting will be an ordinance to amend the soliciting and peddling guidelines in town, after a discussion at a prior meeting regarding companies soliciting without proper identification and clearance.
