JEFFERSON, NJ — Jefferson police responded to multiple calls between Oct. 19 and Nov. 4, including for a car on fire in a bagel shop parking lot. Read about the recent police activity, as written by police, here:

10/19/18: Elena Wagner-Ball, 43 of Rockaway NJ was arrested at the scene of a MV Stop for suspected DWI. Ms. Ball was operating her vehicle on Route 15 South. Ms. Ball was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was charged accordingly, and released pending a future court date.

10/22/18: Stacy Marini, 55, of Jefferson Township, was arrested for DWI after she was found sitting in her vehicle in the B&J Market parking lot. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was charged accordingly, and released pending a future court date.

10/26/2018: A 2003 Buck LeSabre caught fire while parked in front of Adams Bagels. The engine compartment was fully engulfed in flames and all occupants were out of the vehicle. Adams Bagels was also safely evacuated until the fire was extinguished. Fire appeared to have started from faulty electrical equipment and was not suspicious.

10/27/18: Christopher Woodhead, 61, of Blairstown NJ, crashed his vehicle on the Woodport ramp leading onto Rt. 15 South. Mr. Woodhead was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol. He also had an active extradition no bail warrant out of Pike County Pennsylvania. He was transported to Morris County Correctional Facility on the no bail warrant. He was also processed for DWI and issued several MV Summons pending a future court date.

11/4/2018: PO Romash arrested Robert Franco, 20, Trevor Rozmus, 20 and Johnathan Graham, 20, all of Jefferson Township for possession of CDS. All were found in a motor vehicle on Upper Lake Rd in regards to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a residence. They were released on a summons pending a future court date.

11/4/2018: Ian May, 22, of Easton PA, was arrested after giving PO Saparito a fictitious name during an MV Stop. Mr. May was charged and released pending a future court date.
