Chrobock Receives Gold Award

Girl Scout presented bullying assembly.

It was when Rutgers student Tyler Clementi committed suicide after an incident of bullying that Jefferson resident Megan Chrobock realized how important the subject of bullying is. So the Pope John High School senior decided to take on the topic as her Girl Scout gold award project.

She presented an assembly on bullying to the third, fourth and fifth grade students at White Rock School. Chrobock produced a coloring book for the students to use.

Chrobock was honored with a resolution by the Jefferson Township council at its meeting on Wednesday night. She was accompanied by her parents Beth and Brian Chrobock.
