The Jefferson Township council will swear in a new firefighter, renew liquor licenses and will hold final hearing on a proposed ordinance to vacate a portion of Arizona Ave. All these will take place at the council's meeting tonight, June 1.
Jake Bakera will be sworn in as a firefighter for Fire Company No. 1.
The liquor license renewals will be for the period of July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
