Dance, Go To a Meeting, or Do Some Art Tonight

Another busy day in J-Town!

The busy week continues! We have more meetings and some education, some dancing and a ladies night out for you. Check out the details here:

  1. Lacrosse Presentation: If you’re a girl in grades 4-6, or the parent of same, and you’re interested in playing lacrosse, you need to be at the middle school tonight at 6:30 p.m. for a presentation about the lacrosse program.
  2. Council Meeting: The Jefferson Township council meets tonight at 6 p.m. for budget discussion. It will be followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Both will be held at town hall.
  3. Lady Liberty: If you’d like to know more about the Statue of Liberty, you need to be at the library tonight at 7 p.m. There you’ll hear a program called “Lady Liberty: The Story of the Statue.”
  4. A La Art: It’s ladies night at A La Art. Leave the hubby and kids at home and work with wet clay, glass fusing, or bisque (clay fired once). This is for ladies over 21 only.
  5. Ballroom Dancing: Want to learn to ballroom dance? Now you can. Mary Pickett, a dance instructor, will give lessons at the Jazzercise studio on Route 15  Classes are $15 per couple.
