
Losing is a word that the Jefferson Falcons bowling team hasn’t heard this season. Not even once.
The team just completed an undefeated season, winning all 14 matches in NJAC. The latest was a 7-0 victory over Vernon. The Falcons ended the season winning 91 of a possible 98 points.
Austin Vance led the Falcons by firing a 704 series against Vernon with games of 245-204-255. Chris Sandham also had three games over 200, with scores of 221-234-201 for a 656 set. Ryan Kearns added a 625 series. Matt Servedio had a 225 game, and Chris Cook had a 226 game.

The team had total pinfall of 3149, with all three games over 1000 for the fourth time this season.
The Falcons had three of the top five highest boys averages in the league, with Matt Servedio at 212, Chris Sandham at 206, and Austin Vance at 202.

The team also finished in first place in the New Year Eve Tournament held at Sparta Lanes. Servedio ended with a 212 average and Sandham had a high series of 775.
And then there was that little matter of not one, but two perfect games, one by and the other by . These were the first two perfect games in Falcon bowling history.
The team will compete in the Morris County tournament on Feb. 2 and in the State sectionals later in February.
