Fire Shutters Upstream Grille In Lake Hopatcong

It's not clear when the restaurant will reopen.

LAKE HOPATCONG, NJ — An electrical fire has temporarily closed Upstream Grille in Lake Hopatcong, a restaurant employee said. It's not clear when it will reopen.

An electrical fire broke out at the restaurant around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jefferson Township police said. It was closed to customers at the time, and there were no major injuries; a Jefferson Township Police officer and a Picatinny Firefighter were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Police determined that the fire was electrical.
