Fire Tears Through Detached Garage In Jefferson
No one was injured in the fire, police said.
JEFFERSON, NJ — A fire tore through a detached garage in Jefferson Sunday night, police said.
The fire began just after 6 p.m. on Sunday on Prospect Point Road. The detached garage was "engulfed in flames and smoke," police said; no one was inside the garage at the time. There were no injuries.
The fire was brought under control within the hour. The cause remains under investigation, but police believe a car being worked on inside the garage sparked the fire.
