Got a Shout-Out? Send It In!

Gina Riso, a Jefferson Patch reader, came up with a suggestion that we love: 

"I think you should have a page where everyone can tell about the wonderful out pouring of support from friends & neighbors in the on going electrical situation"

We think this is such a wonderful idea, in fact, that we're going to do it. Here's how it will work: From now through Monday, Sept. 5, we will accept shout-outs to friends, neighbors, family members—anyone you'd like to thank for their support during Irene's wrath. You can email them to me at susan.toth@patch.com. Don't be alarmed if you get an automated vacation response, as I will be out from Sept. 1-5 on vacation.

When I return on Monday, I will gather all the comments, put them into a story, and you can see them on Jefferson Patch on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Feel free to be lavish in your praise, as I'm sure there are many people who deserve it. You can also include photos if you'd like. I will post them as well.
