Group's Walk Helps Young Abuse Victims
JTHS's Teens Against Dating Abuse group walk raises funds for Dierdre's House.
Students in Jefferson Township High School’s Teens Against Dating Abuse (TADA) group helped the youngest victims of abuse with its Third annual walk around Lake Shawnee last Sunday.
Proceeds from the event went to Dierdre’s House, a Morris County center for child victims of abuse and/or neglect and for children that have witnessed domestic violence.
Participants walked the 2.5-mile perimeter of the lake in an effort to raise funds for this year’s chosen cause.
