Each week in Moms Talk Q&A, we'll ask readers about an issue affecting Jefferson residents.
It seems today that 13 is the new 18. Kids are expecting/expected to do things at an increasingly younger and younger age. What are some realistic, age-appropriate guidelines for rites of passage, such as wearing makeup, attending movies with an adult present, dating, curfews, etc.?
What do you think? Do you believe our kids are growing up too fast? Too slow? Are we expecting too much of them at an early age? When should kids start acting, well, a little older?
