It's chock full of activities.

Happy June, everyone! Summer starts soon, although by the temperatures we think it’s already here. Even though the school year might be winding down, there are still lots of events going on in Jefferson in June. Here are just a few:

  1. You Need to Know About the Prom: The Jefferson Township High School senior prom is this Thursday night. Everyone get your cameras ready.
  2. You Need to Know About the After-Prom Breakfast: Revelers are invited to attend the after-prom breakfast well…after the prom! Mayor Russell Felter and Board of Education member Robert Feldmann will be wearing their chefs’ hats.
  3. You Need to Know About This Graduation: The eighth grade students at Jefferson Township middle school will graduate on Tuesday, June 21. It’s the first of what we hope will be several times they don caps and gowns.
  4. You Need to Know About This Second Graduation: The Jefferson Township High School seniors graduate on Wednesday, June 22. Yet another Kodak moment or two or ten.
  5. You Need to Know About This Date: Wednesday, June 22 is the last day of school for all students in Jefferson. Students, turn off the alarm clocks and parents, get ready to have a busier household.
