Lake Hopatong Woman Makes Leadership Honor Society

Nicole Magath of Lake Hopatcong, NJ has been inducted into Alfred University's (AU) circle (chapter) of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the national leadership honor society.

Magath, a senior Interdisciplinary Art major, is the daughter of Mark Magath of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and Renee Magath of Syracuse, NY. She is a graduate of Jefferson Township High School.

The new inductees heard remarks from AU President Charles Edmondson honoring the groups' accomplishments. Over 50 students were awarded the entrance to the national honor society.

ODK was founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University. ODK believes that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college life should cooperate in worthwhile endeavors, and that outstanding students, faculty, and administrators should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding, and helpfulness.
