She is my wife, our mother, our grandmother

What does the local hero do?

She runs a non profit called Adaptive Golfers to help individuals with disabilities use Golf as a therapeutic activity.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

She has made an impactful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and the Golf and Allied Health and Rehabilitative Industries that serves them.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

She is a known globally as the World Ranked "One-Handed Lady Golfer". Yes, you read that right, she is a Golfer with a disability herself (GOOGLE her) and positioned herself to be an example to all who crosses her path.
