
The work week is back in swing after what, for some of you, may have been a day off. We hope you enjoyed your three-day weekend, but now it’s back to the grind. Here’s some things you need to know keep your week interesting.
- Board of Education: The meets tonight at 8 p.m. in the media center at the high school.
- Lake Hopatcong Commission: This commission meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Hopatcong Civic Center, 32 Lakeside Blvd., Hopatcong. Find out what’s going on with the lake and how you can help.
- Town Council: The meets on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the municipal building. Lake Swannanoa is on the agenda, as is the presentation of the 2012 budget. You’ll want to be there for these two issues.
- Sports: On Thursday, the bowling team has a match against High Point at Sparta Lanes at 4 p.m., and the wrestling team visits Morris Hills High School at 7 p.m.
- More Sports: On Friday, the Falcon girls’ and boys’ basketball teams take on High Point. The girls are on the road, and the boys are at home. Both varsity contests begin at 7 p.m.
