Another snowy day. We know we haven’t written that in a while, but now it’s been twice this week. The calendar may say spring, but it seems Mother Nature has let us down. We won’t let you down, however, because here are the five things you need to know today.

1. You Need to Know About This Meeting: Don’t forget about the public hearing on the proposed 2011-2012 school budget coming on March 24 at 8 p.m. in the middle school media center. Come out and find out how your money is being spent.
2. You Need to Know About This Committee: Want to do some good for Jefferson and have fun at the same time The is looking for new members, and will be meeting on March 24 at 7:30 at Department for Persons with Disabilities building on Weldon Rd.
3. You Need to Know About This Series: Are you into history and graveyards? Then the place for you to be is the that kicks off in Morristown tonight at 5:30 p.m.
4. You Need to Know About This Festival: If you’re an NCAA fan, then you know the East Regional final games are in Newark this weekend. On March 24 you can attend a in Newark.
5. You Need to Know About This Group: A meets at the United Way headquarters in Cedar Knolls on March 24 at 5:30. Join this group for support  if you’ve lost someone close to you.
