What a way to start the weekend! The first Friday in June is National Doughnut Day and Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme are offering deals in honor of the day.
Participating Dunkin’ Donuts shops nationwide will offer guests a free donut of their choice, while supplies last, with the purchase of any beverage, according to an announcement on the Dunkin' Donuts website.
Jefferson has several Dunkin' Donuts shops, including one on each side of Route 15.

Krispy Kreme shops are participating in National Doughnut Day, according to the Krispy Kreme website. There is a Krispy Kreme outlet at .
Folks can go to Krispy Kreme for a free doughnut of their choice, no purchase necessary.
