New Appointments on Meeting Agenda

With a new year comes new happenings at town hall, and the will follow that lead and hold its reorganization meeting tonight, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. in council chambers at the municipal building.

Even though the mayor position did not change hands and there were no council seats up for reelection so the council remains the same, the council is required to hold a reorganization meeting. Nominations will be taken for the positions of council president and vice president. In addition, the mayor and council will make appointments to a number of positions.

Also on the agenda is the first reading of an ordinance regarding redevelopment along Rt. 15 specifically to amend the zoning district.

Among other decisions to be made include the awarding of bids for rock salt and a combination sewer cleaner.

Public comment is allowed at two different portions of the meeting.
