Police: Oak Ridge Man Dies After Fall From Tree

Frederick Hochgesand, 72, of Paderewski Road died on Saturday after he fell from a tree in his yard, Jefferson Township police said.

The accident happened on Saturday afternoon when Hochgesand was up in a tree in his yard on Paderewski Road to trim it, police said.

After the fall, he was transported to Morristown Medical Center by medevac, police said. First responders told police that Hochgesand was coherent and responsive to questions.

The Milton First Aid Squad and Paramedic Unit 515 from the Dover campus of St. Clare’s Hospital responded to the scene.
