Police: Man Runs Red Light, Injures Woman

A Jefferson youth ran a red light on Rt. 15 on Tuesday, police said, causing injuries to a township woman.

Wade Woolridge, 17, of Jefferson, was driving south on Rt. 15 and failed to stop at the light at Bowling Green Parkway, police said. His car struck the vehicle of Anmarie Karaitis, 48, of Jefferson.

The Jefferson Rescue Squad transported Karaitis to Morristown Medical Center with what police said appeared to be serious injuries.

Woolridge was issued a summons for disregarding a red light.
