Rossi Nominated for Lacrosse Award

High school player has also taught the game to younger kids.

Jefferson Township High School senior Jordan Rossi has played lacrosse since fifth grade, at a time when the team had to practically beg for players. All that dedication has paid off, as Rossi is now a nominee for the Bagataway Award through the New Jersey lacrosse league.

For four years Rossi attended youth practices as a student assistant, teaching the game to the young players in addition to playing middie for the Jefferson High School lacrosse program.

Bagataway is the Indian name for lacrosse and this award is special for a number of reasons. This award fosters and encourages the relationships between the players, their team or league-mates, their coaches and staff and the community.
