Individuals who are interested in running for the Jefferson Township Board of Education in November must file nominating petitions with the Morris County Clerk’s office by June 5 as per N.J.S.A. 19:60-7. Interested candidates can get a petition at http://www.njsba.org/about/candidacy/nominating-petitions.php
Four seats are available: three 3-year terms that will run from Jan. 1, 2013 through Dec. 31, 2015. The other is a one-year term that runs from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2013.
