Sports and Meetings Start the New Year

Back to the week! Although today may be a holiday for some of you, Patch is here, giving you the first five things you need to know for the new year.

1. Reorganization Meeting: The Jefferson Township council will hold its reorganization meeting on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the municipal building.
2. Special School Board Meeting: This meeting will take place on Tuesday night at 7:15 p.m. at the high school. Topics on the agenda are the superintendent vacancy and possibly other personnel action.
3. Basketball: The Falcon boys and girls take on Pope John on Tuesday and Montville on Thursday. Click here for schedules.
4. Bowling: The bowling team faces Vernon and Hopatcong this week. You can find exact schedules here.
5. Swimming: The swim team takes on High Point on Thursday. The meet happens at Kittatinny High School. Click here for schedules.
6. Wrestling: The wrestlers have matches on Wedensday against Mt. Olive and Thursday against Morristown. Schedules are available here.
