Beware the ides of March. In “Julius Caesar,” Shakespeare’s play Caesar was warned that harm would come to him on the ides (15th day) of March. Perhaps it was because Caesar wasn’t aware of the five things he needed to know that day. So the same fate won’t befall any of you, here are today’s five things:

  1. You Need to Know About this Craft: Let your kids get their creative juices flowing at the drop-in craft at thethis afternoon at 1:45.
  2. You Need to Know About This Meeting: The Jefferson Township council will hold a meeting to discuss the Lake Swannanoa dam restoration project on Wednesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
  3. You Need to Know About this Show: Come out and be entertained by a talented group of middle school students at the talent showcase tomorrow, March 16 at 7 p.m. in the middle school cafeteria.
  4. You Need to Know About This Lecture: The eighth annual happens on Wednesday, March 16 at County College of Morris at 5 p.m. Community leaders can gain useful knowledge that they can bring back to their towns.
  5. You Need to Know About This Class: If you have a product or service to bring to market but you don’t know where to start, then is the place for you to be on Wednesday, March 16 at the Morris County Library at 6 p.m.
