This Week's Whiz Kid, JTHS Junior Does It All

Whiz Kid's Name, Age: Colleen Scanlon, 16

Whiz Kid's School: Jefferson Township High School (junior)

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Scanlon is a finalist in the NJ state DECA competition. She will be competing in the state DECA finals in Cherry Hill for three days in March. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, on the Municipal Alliance Committee, on the ski team and the field hockey team.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Scanlon does it all. She participates in sports, keeps her grades up and does community service. How does she keep it all together?

"I'm very organized," she said. "I try to stay organized all the time. I'm also very happy all the time. I never let bad moods get in my way."
