Town Council Hands Out Honors at Meeting
Governing body gave recognition to town servants at the start and end of their careers.

The Jefferson Township Council paid tribute to a new member of Fire Company #1 and a retiring police detective at its Sept. 25 meeting at Town Hall, AIM Jefferson reported.
Mayor Russell Felter presided over the swearing in of Connor Kraljevich, whose family, friends and fellow volunteers were present. Council President Richard Yocum gave Kraljevich tokens of the town's appreciation and praised his dedication to working for the town's residents, the article said.
The council and mayor also honored Detective Corp. Stephen Muller of Jefferson Township Police, who is retiring after 25 years of service. The governing body issued a proclamation that was presented to Muller at the meeting. The much-honored officer earned many awards during his career, including winning Police Officer of the Year in 1992.
