Township Resident Completes Boot Camp

Air Force Airmen first class Mark W. Hueber graduated from military training at Lackland, Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas on Oct. 28.

The airmen completed a nine-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, air force core values, physical fitness, principles and skills.

Hueber is studying for his associate degree in criminal justice at the college of the Air Force for Security Forces. While at boot camp, he received three ribbons for sharp shooter, leadership and enlisting at time of war.

Hueber graduated in 2007 from Jefferson Township High School. He will be stationed in Ramstien, Germany, for two years.

Hueber is the son of late William E. Hueber and Marjorie Hueber-Burns, and stepson of Dennis Burns. he is the grandson of former Mayor Evelyn Brown of Jefferson Township and Marge and Pete Hueber of Longwood Lake.
