UPDATED: Road Openings and Closures in Town

While Irene might be gone, she’s left her calling card in the form of road closures. Some of Sunday’s road closures still remain in effect on Monday morning, because of the storm, according to Jefferson police. However, there also is some good news to report:

• Route 15 is fully reopened in both directions.
• Longwood Lake Road is open, and residents can get in and out.
• Taylor Road is now passable.
• Cozy Lake Road remains closed.
• Route 23 is open through Jefferson Township, but closed in West Milford.
