Dear Friend,

My name is Christine Clarke. I am an environmental advocate, a grassroots organizer and a mother-of-four running for State Senate to build the job-creating clean energy economy, advance a green recovery from covid-19, protect clean air and water, improve healthcare and lead with empathy and common decency. Whether you prefer to vote in person, early, by mail, or on Election Day, I’m asking for your vote by or on November 2, please.

I am running to bring back servant leadership because I believe, regardless of party, we should have leaders who listen, who care and who prioritize community health and wellness over partisan talking points. At a most basic level, we need people in the statehouse who side with working families over personal or corporate profits, who are disinclined toward political extremism, and who care more about our views than about having a platform to advance theirs.

Many of you will receive a letter in the mail highlighting key differences between my opponent and me on the back. He turned down the opportunity to debate, so I have been working to share the contrast for your consideration. There is more information about us, issue by issue, at clarkeforsenate.com/contrast. The fundamental fact to remember is that he votes in ways that make our children less safe. From his support of conversion therapy even after it was banned by New Jersey as a form of torture, to his opposition to women’s reproductive healthcare rights and privacy, to his position that seniors don’t deserve 72% of what he calls 'entitlement spending,' to his persistent misinformation about hydroxychloroquine, he isn’t looking out for us. I remember when we could count on our political leaders to at least consider the impact of their votes on people and communities. With your support, I would like the opportunity to be someone who leads by listening, sharing and learning from the people I represent.

I hope you’ll take some time to visit my website to learn more, and I humbly ask for your vote by November 2.
