It's the last weekend before Christmas and Hanukah, and we know you're probably busy with parties, shopping, decorating, baking and the rest of the seemingly endless list of things to do. But it's still the weekend, so if you have a little down time, here's a few things you can do for fun.
- Basketball: The Falcon boys' and girls' basketball teams open the season tonight against High Point. The boys are on the road and the girls at home. Root on the Falcons!

- : If you'll be near the in Oak Ridge on Saturday between 9 a.m. And 2 p.m., pick up a little extra food and give it Boy Scout Pack 49 for their food drive. Help them reach their goal of 1,000 pounds of food.
- : Still need a tree? You can get one at the on Legion Rd. in Oak Ridge this weekend.
- : The on Howard Blvd. Will have a free spaghetti dinner on Saturday night at 5 p.m. Join the group for good food and good conversation.
