HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Each year, thousands of high-achieving students in both public and private high schools wait to see if they're among the National Merit Scholars who win $2,500 per year for college, no strings attached.
On Wednesday, the National Merit Scholarship Foundation released a list of students in New Jersey who have won a scholarship, after submitting test scores, recommendations, and more. The list was culled from thousands of semifinalists who were announced last fall.
There were only two winners in Hudson County, and only one attends public school. They are:

Hoboken
