JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 40-year-old Jersey City man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a girl via Discord, prosecutors said.

Stanley Ruiz, 40, was charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday.

Prosecutors said that in March 2025, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information that a man had sent explicit messages and images to a female juvenile through Discord.
