2 Jersey City Restaurants To Open This Weekend

Two new restaurants are opening in Jersey City on the same day this weekend. One is giving away freebies.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Two cafés in Jersey City plan to open on the same day this weekend, they said.

Barrio Barista espresso bar announced that they'll open to customers at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and give away free tote bags to the first 25 customers.

The coffee shop, located at 60 Sip Ave., will be open until 7 p.m. that day.

Meanwhile, the long awaited Stormy Café, on the city's west side, will hold a soft opening on Saturday.

"Stormy Café offers a healthy, halal breakfast, lunch, specialty coffee, and refreshing drinks in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere," says its website.

And don't worry — skies aren't expected to be stormy that day, although rain is predicted for Sunday.

They will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, they say.

Stormy Café will be located at 738 West Side Ave.
