9/11 Remembrance Ceremonies To Be Held In Jersey City

There is also a volunteer event at Reservoir No. 3 and the police and fire departments are hosting a blood drive.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The annual 9/11 memorial ceremony will be held in Jersey City Wednesday, the 18th anniversary of the terror attacks.

The ceremony will take place at the city's 9/11 memorial on Grand Street at 8 a.m.

A remembrance ceremony will be at Journal Square at 2 p.m.

The Jersey City police and fire departments will host a 9/11 memorial blood drive from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Hudson Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 2 Exchange Place. To schedule an appointment visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code "Jersey City 911," or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
