Flooding Possible In Jersey City On Friday, NWS Says: See Timing
A flood advisory was issued for Jersey City. Heavy rain is expected. See the timing.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Heavy rains are predicted for Friday morning, around the time of high tide in Jersey City.
The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory in Hoboken from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, during the morning commute.
There's also a wind advisory in effect all day Friday until midnight.

High tide is expected at 7:44 a.m. Friday in Jersey City and 7:54 a.m. Friday in Hoboken.
For Thursday night into Friday, the NWS says, "Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible."

For Friday, "Rain showers before 4 p.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Some thunder is also possible."
