14-Year-Old Girl And 16-Year-Old Boy Charged With Murder In Jersey City
A girl, 14, boy, 16, and one adult have been charged with murder in connection with a Jersey City killing in May.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 14-year-old girl, 16-year-old boy, and one adult have been charged with the murder of a young man in Jersey City in May, prosecutors said on Monday.
Makiyy Randolph, 21, of Paterson was charged on Friday with murder, felony murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and weapons charges, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
He was arrested on Gates Avenue in Jersey City "after a brief foot pursuit," prosecutors said.

He was additionally charged with obstruction and resisting arrest by flight, and detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, said prosecutors.
They did not give more details on the two teens, but they were charged with murder, felony murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and weapons charges. They were both arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus on Thursday, July 11, prosecutors said.

On Friday, May 10, 2024, shortly before 10 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of Pearsall Avenue and Garfield Avenue.
Police found Resheed Wallace, 24, of Jersey City with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
Wallace was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:25 p.m., prosecutors said.
