Gun And Drugs Seized At Jersey City Clothing Store By Gang Task Force: Prosecutors
A gun and drugs were seized at a Jersey City clothing store and 3 people were arrested after a narcotics investigation, prosecutors said.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Three people were arrested and drugs and a gun were discovered in a Jersey City clothing store Wednesday following an investigation into a "narcotics distribution operation," prosecutors said Friday.
As part of the investigation, the Hudson County Gant Task Force discovered "Various suspected narcotics and a firearm" at King George Clothing and Accessory Store at 426 Ocean Ave. in Jersey City during a search Wednesday, said Hudson County prosecutors.
The investigation uncovered two guns in total, prosecutors said Friday, as well as more than 900 grams of cocaine, four pounds of marijuana, various narcotics, and two handguns.

The second handgun connected to the crimes was found at a local in Newark, prosecutors said.
The following people were charged in the investigation:

- Jamaal George, 47, of Newark, was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, psilocybin, cocaine, and marijuana, and various related charges, prosecutors said. He was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon (handgun).
- Katrina Bullock, 41, of Jersey City was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, psilocybin, maorijuana, and methamphetamine, and related charges.
- A 35-year-old woman who was inside the store during the search on Wednesday was charged with marijuana possession but was released on a summons. Her name was not released by prosecutors.
"Additional charges have been filed against Jamaal George in Essex County after a second handgun and narcotics were recovered during court-authorized searches in Newark," prosecutors said.
Prosecutor Esther Suarez credited the Gang Task Force with the investigations and arrests, with assistance from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Newark Police Department, and Hudson County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit.
Prosecutors did not release further information about the investigation on Friday.
