Jersey City Apartment Fire Leaves Man In Critical Condition
A 64-year-old man is in critical condition following a fire in the Berry Gardens Apartments in Jersey City.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — An arson investigation is underway after a fire in Jersey City's Berry Gardens Apartments has left one resident in critical condition.
The fire broke out on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. at an apartment in the building at 92 Danforth Avenue in Jersey City. When crews got into the apartment where the fire was raging, they found an unresponsive man inside.
The 64-year-old victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is in critical condition.

A preliminary investigation by the Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force has determined
that the fire began in Apartment 206 and the fire was contained to this apartment. The investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is pending.
