Jersey City Car Crashes Prompt Lane Closures Tuesday Morning: DOT

JERSEY CITY, NJ - A pair of motor vehicle crashes in Jersey City have prompted commuting delays in the area Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 7:52 a.m., there's a crash on US 1&9/Tonnelle Avenue northbound south of Secaucus Road in Jersey City. 1 left lane is currently closed, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

As of 7:46 a.m., there's also a crash on NJ 440 northbound south of US 1&9 Truck Route/Communipaw Avenue in Jersey City, the DOT added. 1 left lane is currently closed.
