Jersey City Man Fatally Stabbed In New York Subway Station: Police
A Jersey City man was found stabbed in a NYC subway station earlier this month and later died of his injuries, police said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 50-year-old Jersey City man found stabbed inside a New York City subway station earlier this month and later died of his injuries, police said Tuesday.
Vincent Norman was found unresponsive with stab wounds to his back and neck just before 4:30 a.m. on June 14, said New York City police. He was found in the West 4th Street subway station in the West Village.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, police said. He later succumbed to his injuries.

The city's medical examiner declared the death a homicide. There were no arrests as of Tuesday, police said.
The death was the second inside the New York City subways so far this year, said reports in New York media.

In April, the city had reported no homicides in the public transit system during the first quarter of the year, saying this was the first time that had happened in the last seven years.
