NJ Man Screaming For Help Dies After Being Transported To Hospital
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office is investigating a man's death in Bayonne Monday after police were called to an apartment.
BAYONNE, NJ — The New Jersey Attorney General's Office is investigating the death of a man that occurred Monday morning after police were called to a home in Bayonne.
Bayonne police responded to an apartment building on Broadway, near Linnet Street, around 12:18 a.m. Monday after someone called 911 to report "a lot" of screaming, said the Attorney General's Office in a press release Tuesday afternoon.
Police heard yelling from the apartment and then, according to a release, they "encountered the man who had been yelling and [police] requested medical assistance. Police restrained the male for medical personnel to transport him to Bayonne Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased at 8:44 a.m."

The cause and manner of death are currently under investigation.

The Attorney General's Office said that they are not releasing the man's name at this time, or further information.
