Man Sexually Assaulted And Threatened 10-Year-Old Girl: Hudson County Prosecutor
A Hudson County man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl, then threatening to hurt her if she told, prosecutors say.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A Union City man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl who was a "family acquaintance," then threatening her, prosecutors said.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Francisco Ruiz, 66, on charges of second-degree sexual assault, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third degree terroristic threats, and third degree criminal restraint, prosecutors said.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said that Ruiz sexually assaulted the girl in his Union City apartment last month. Then he threatened to harm the girl if she reported the crimes, prosecutors said.

He was arrested at a home on Avenue C in Bayonne and taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility to await his first court appearance, prosecutors said.
