JERSEY CITY, NJ — Residents of Jersey City's west side are looking forward to a "stormy" new restaurant that's coming soon.

The Stormy Cafe has placed signage on West Side Avenue, near the McGinley Square area.

"Stormy Cafe offers a healthy, halal breakfast, lunch, specialty coffee, and refreshing drinks in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere," says its website.

"A storm is brewing!" posted the McGinley Square Community Board on Thursday. "And this one, we welcome! Stormy Cafe has been finessing all the details and getting ready to open shop at 738 West Side Ave at the SE corner of Fairview. We can't wait for this new coffee house."

The cafe is coming to the space of the former La Isa Del Caribe, whose beach painting will remain outside, says the Board.
